There is a mile and a half hike down into the rocks then back up. My Host was busy blessing visitors with information and rich history of the area. She told me NO WAY-you can hike it next time-which was no dissappointment as I was in heaven continuing the exploration from behind the lense of my camera

The Rest of the Utah Travels to come tomorrow-oh- if I could just click my heels 3 times and transport myself from 106 degree desert to the cool and kind temps of Bryce Canyon- I settled for a large bowl of butterfinger ice cream-it qualifies as COOL =)

as we stood across the small ravine through which the river runs,- I was Awe Struck! by this TREE growing out of the ROCK! No its not falling over the edge-it grows this way!!

the first 10 minute hike brought us to the natural occuring waterfall on the ranch with the absolute best water I have ever had. I would have loaded empty gallon jugs in the trunk but you know all the luggage-2 women-enough clothes for a month...yada..yada..yada..

I am researching the building of this tunnel in the Zion National PArk. I can't imagine how they blasted through these enormous rocks, then dug through inch by inch-many men died during this immense project.~

This is coming a week late, but with Fathers Day, My new Blog, and the dreaded neck problem-my blog is like a movie is slow motion.
At first I was frustrated and inpatient-telling myself "you should have this done" "you should have that done already"-
Plopped like a r ag doll- in the middle of my studio like a 3 year old who cant find her favorite toy- I burst into laughter-realizing---
