as I snapped away praying the window would not create lousy captures , I caught baby in a yawn. Ohhh ...how I wanted to open the door and stroke him; BUT, that incisor reminded me that he is indeed WILD! Respect for this! Gratitude for these moment to behold this trusting baby

It is quite rare for these creatures to ever come in contact with humans. THey are wise and stay far and clear of our human race.
THis is an exceptional occurence where at some profoundly trusting level the parents of this 2 year old cat sought relationship with the resident of this special home high up in the rocks at the entrance to the amazing JOshua Tree National PArk. She has watched this beautiful creature grow from infancy to this age.


I watched as it took under two minutes for him to demolish a half a chicken bones and all.
