i really like this blogger life; however my back does not like me sitting for a looong period of time, so it is up on my feet and out into the sunny, perfect 65 degree desert!

HISTORICAL SNOW NOVEMER 2004

This is Captain Jack Sparrow, we found him at our local shelter in October. He was snuggled among 7 very furry, large canine sisters, 3 times his size. My daughter picked him up and asked the kennel manager, "what is wrong with his eye?" The manager shared Jacks story of being the runt, and having his eye punctured by a litter mate when he was 2 weeks old. I was on the cement floor being pumalted by 2 of the big sisters, when my daughter said, "Mom look at him, nobody will want him because he so small, and his eye..."
The rest is HISTORY. She named him after the character in Pirates of The Caribbean, due to the one eye trait.
Jack shared the miracle of the historical blizzard we awoke to early one morning this past November. The desert has never seen snow like this.
Needless to say Jack, and the rest of us had a blast

MAKING PROGRESS

The wind has kicked up like crazy!
The weather bug is showing wind warnings for the freeway
45 mph. Lots of tumbleweeds and sand blowing through the air.

BIG SCANDEL involving American Idol. I can't mentally picture Simon pleading with anyone-WOW! if anyone other than SCOTT leaves tonight, I will stick my head in the sand like an ostrich.

I downloaded the Hello Picasso program, and I still don't get what if the &^%$!!! I need to do.

I need a blog tutor to teach me the KINDERGARTEN version of this process. I just get soooooo FRustraTED!!!!!

I feel better now....

So Beautiful Today!

Father Mother God, Let me travel this day with new eyes. I am thankful for new friends, the stregnth to not give up in the face of uncertainty, the courage to speak my truth, no matter the audience,the insight to realize I am only one instrument in your infinite symphony, Let me play my part well, so that we may all resonate in harmony.

Clear, Sun, warmth, this morning.
Yesterday and today are busy with travel to medical appointments. IF there is time tonight I will post the fun festivities of TURTLE DAYS, more accurately TORTOISE DAYS!
If the BIRTHDAY FAIRY brings me a wireless laptop, then I can be much more efficient and time savvy, in keeping the rhythm of my daily post flowing.

JAck Sparrow, our puppy, just dropped one of my hair rollers at my feet. Wow! I didnt know they could break into that many peices...better go follow the trail of plastic ... can PLASTC be DIGESTED??? ... UH OH...
