This is beautiful ... what created the silhouette?

Good Afternoon HB,
Thank you-I must admit to being in great need of encouragement as I tackle all the technologies of my new CANON.
The form is from a Beautiful Iron sculpture
I laid down on my back to get this angle at sunset.
All was well ,till I got up and all the sand that stuck to my back went down my drawers- yikes!
Next shoot, I am bringing my Yoga mat =)

I have a photog friend who once got this amazing weather shot by standing atop the concrete median on North Lake Shore Drive to get the crashing waves of Lake Michigan during a snow storm in Chicago. His wife (a picture editor) loved the shot ... but hated what he did to get it.
It's all in the name of selfexpression. I say grab an extra mat and just keep it in your car! Happy weekend ...

I NOW KNOW THAT I NEED TO BRING AN EXTRA PADDED MAT, AS MY NECK AND SHOULDER HAVE FELT THE AFTERMATH OF MY "PHOTO-ADVENTURES"
