Dear Ryder's Mom:
I saw your note on The Toymaker, and came over here. I've looked at some of the blogs you wrote in preparation for your boy's birth and have seen and felt the love. This is a sad time, a terrible time, but your love is strong and rich and will stretch farther than you can imagine, I am sure. I will be thinking of you and yours. I have had experience with oxygen deprivation and the damage it causes, but I was older and stronger than a new-born can be, as well as very lucky indeed. I hope for all that love can bring.

This child is so loved and adored -- despite and because of his impairments. Know that we share your pain and anguish.
