This absolute masterpiece is painted on a concrete pedestal that supports a spiral driveway
that once led up to a parking lot. The whole presentation now serves as very
adaptive patio service for the Pesto Brothers Restaurant in Heritage Square.
Painted by artist Joe Sorren
Mural title: "The Veridic Gardens of Effie Leroux," finished in September of 2000,
is a depiction of another of Sorren's invented characters. Effie Leroux "was an
early 20th century philanthropist, who created veridic gardens - peaceful places for
people to experience with all five senses the possibility of a fuller life.

... now interpreted into a book...
