You say roadrunner, but what y'ou mean is the ground cuckoo.
They eat rattlesnakes by slamming them against the ground by the tail until their head explodes.
These cooing and clattering birds of prey are so quick, they can pluck a hummingbird or dragonfly in mid flight.
It's so cute to see one with part of the snake dangling out of its mouth as it slowly digests.
They can fly for only a few seconds when startled, but prefer to walk or run.
Ah. My friend, the ground cuckoo.

No, I mean Roadrunner, yes siree, the very same, feather filled sprinter who terrorized Wile E Coyote in the cartoons of my childhood; though I have yet to see one even near the proximity of a Coyote.
