HOLY hot existence!!!! AIR is so critical in these waves. Even a small window unit can provide coolness to at least one room where comfortable shelter can be had.

(((AJA))) oh what a joy a good rain storm would be. The desert is unique in its ability to have multiple climates and precipitations just blocks apart.
IT can be raining cats and dogs in one spot and 2 blocks over nothing
The clencher today was 100 degrees with cloud cover and scattered areas of rain which equalled scorching humid air! retreating to a well cooled place and continuous intake of liquids is the only option.
I hope the flooding is disruptin your life dear AJA!

I passed through (or should I say passed out?) Needles once. Mother of God, it was the hottest I have ever experienced. It was late August. The temperature on the bank screen said 130. Is that possible???? In any event, my lungs were seared as we stepped out of the hotel to go to our car and be on our way again. It was a memorable moment indeed.
