No I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward." ~Thomas Alva Edison.
Beginning today, remind yourself frequently that you cannot fail. Like Edison, you may discover a thousand new ways to not do something, but that is not failing, it is learning. When we allow ourselves to learn from every experience we move a step closer to our dreams. You are never a failure. You are a student in this great classroom called life. Experience is your teacher.

WELL SAID! When I was 19 I came up with this: "It simply must be felt to be experienced". Part of the problem I see today is that kids are never told they might fail. It's always WIN-WIN-WIN and then the expectations are so high, the landing is very hard. But my 79 year old CPA/Chaplain put it this way. Set your goals/arrange your activity to support your objectives and you'll reach the goals. Thanks for the reminder!

This quote from Edison, the nemesis of Tesla, the real genius who wanted to put power in the air, and not charge anybody for it, reminds me of Tom Peters, esp. his new book "Talent".
Big people make many big, ridiculous, widely publicized mistakes.
Why do we allow our VPs to go on hunting trips?

Hi VTG
WHOOOOOOOEEEE! hang on there with "HATE"
If we HATE them , how are we any different from them?
This unfortunate shooting accident is like a GREAT KARMIC KICK IN THE A@#!! to Cheney and all of his compadresand supporters. What they have done to this country and are global communities, can be compared to BIG, OLD, CONSERVITIVE EGOMANIACs WEILDING GUNS to shoot tiny, defenseless peaceful creatures, reflects WHO THEY TRULY ARE.AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE AND CONTINUE TO DO.
The immediate question at hand is WILL THEY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE? NOW, not 5-10 years from now??

That was so eloquent AND inspiring! As a recovering addict it is so very important for me to remind myself that it doesn't matter how many times I fall down...what matters is how many times I pick my ass up! Thank you, MB! I needed to hear/read that today!
