I just thought I'd drop in.
As far as cold goes here, we don't need any help with the heat here at this time of year. Lately it's been hovering over 30°C (over 86°F). Our temperatures go from -40 to +40°C here over the course of the year.
Nice photographs, by the way.

Drought here in central Illinois. Just got our first rain in about a month I think, today. STill sprinkling. But my garden is lush and overgrown, on steroids, due to my watering, and birds policing for damaging bugs.
you have nice photos here. very rarely "posed". more natural shots. You have a photo blog more or less, which is very nice.
I'm having the same problem with blog objects running up against the post divider, like how Blog Explosion badge is doing.
I'm having very weird problems with my blog layouts and I'm ripping my hair out of my empty head.
Plus, I've lost my dumb ass internet connection about 8 times in one hour this morning. That really sucks. Can't get anything done, Mary Beth.

Schmutzie,
Well i guess i can't persuade you to take 20 or 30 degrees back with ya then ? =)
Thank you for your kind words about the pictures.
I have come to take my camera absolutely everywhere with me now.

Steven.
Hey, i would love to view pictures of your beautiful garden!
Misery loves company and in my
case hearing yours is a bit of a relief, as it gives me a
lightened perspective
on how I deal with my own.
We can shoot rockets accurately through flying comets in apace;
but, we can't get reliable internet connections.

Wow, you really do have cool people over here.
I really like the picture- we had a cool orange crescent moon over here yesterday.
Schmutizie, you must live on a similar latitude to Wisconsin... or maybe.. near Alaska or northern Canada?
Cause here in WI we get -40 C to +40 C ranges too.
Sometimes the wind chill hits like -60 C.
Anyway. It was nice of you to comment, MB, so.. well... thanks.
But it looks as though your blog is flourishing. Good job.
