mother earth has much to say, i am sure.(i'd be pissed-off too!) having lived through the loma prieta quake in 1989, on my middle child's 3rd birthday, no less, i know only too well what mama earth is capable of. we lived in santa cruz at that time. as frightening as that day was, it showed me the power of the earth, and i gained a newfound sense of respect for her. glad you slept through this morning's quake, and i hope things stay calm under the ground. have a lovely sunday in the desert.

I'm glad that I don't live in an earthquake zone. I do remember there was one here in Ohio in 1998. No damage, I felt it though. I was recovering from my back surgery and while sitting on my hospital bed, the bed wiggled, and then it was over. The 6:00 news confirmed that I wasn't over-medicated, that there was in fact an earthquake!
